I love bright flowers, especially when they are made with the SAB stamp set What I Love. I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Bermuda Bay for this card. I was inspired by my previous post on April 11 when I first used these colors.
The Best Is Yet To Come...Fluttering Butterfly
How beautiful is that butterfly! I made the butterfly using the Butterflies Thinlit dies.
The butterfly is scored in the middle and folded in half. I put a small piece of Perfectly Artistic DSP paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure behind the butterfly to give it color. The natural waves of color in the DSP really pops on the black stencil butterfly.
Sale-A-Bration What I love... Love Them in Bright Colors
I made the background by stamping the flower in Bermuda Bay, stamping off on scrap paper and then spritzing the stamp with water before stamping on the white card stock. I did the same with all 3 colors. Gives the card a nice watercolor effect. The splatter was done using the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
Striped DSP is from the Brights Designer Series Paper pack.
