Sneak Peek 2021-2023 In Colors with Wild Rose Background Stamp

I thought it would be fun to make a card using the new 2021-2023 In Colors.  I stamped five different sheets, each with a new in color using the Wild Rose Background Stamp.   Then I cut strips measuring 3 1/2" x 7/8" and layered them on Vellum Cardstock which looks so pretty against the Smoky Slate Cardstock.

Details:

  • Smoky Slate Cardstock card base:  5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
  • Vellum Cardstock:  5" x 3 3/4"
  • Each strip measures 3 1/2" x 7/8" (just under 1")

Organize It Friday - Tip #9: Die Cut Pieces

I love finding new ways to organize my stamping supplies... and I love sharing these tips with you.

This is my drawer of die cut pieces.  When creating a card or project, I often try out different tags and layers.  I keep the extra pieces I don't use in a draw for future projects.  When I have time, I use my White Cardstock paper scraps to cut out more pieces and replenish.  It's great to have a stash of die cut pieces ready for stamping... it's a huge time saver.

I store the die cut pieces in this clear acrylic make-up divider I purchased from Home Goods.  It helps to separate the different shaped die cuts and sits perfectly in my desk draw.
