Technique Tuesday - Brick Wall Technique

This Tuesday's Technique is the "Brick Wall" technique.  It's easier than it looks.  I stamped my image on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and then cutting my image into 1/2" strips.  Each strip was cut into 1/2" or 1" 'bricks', sponged and then put together.  Tedious, but nice.

Stamping with Scraps

I love using Stampin' Up! DSP paper for my stamping projects.  I love their paper so much I hate to throw any of it away... even the smallest littlest scraps.  I made this cute card using paper scraps and the Stampin' Up! Postage Stamp Punch.  Simple and sweet.  This card can work with any DSP color combination.  Hope this inspires you to craft with your scraps.

Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board: Valentine

I made these adorable treats for a friend for her granddaughter's class.  I used the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board.  I used a 5" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper:  place the sheet on the punch board and line up at 2" and punch and score, turn the sheet and line up at 3" and punch and score.  Turn the sheet and repeat 2" and 3" again.  (Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board #134609)

More Class Project Samples

All week I have showcased the projects from my February class... this is the last of the projects.  This card was made using one of the Sale-A-Bration sets and punches you can get for free (Decorative Dots Embossing Folder #133520, Banner Blast Stamp Set W #133551/ C #133554, Banner Punch #133519 ).

This year I have started a new series of projects for my monthly classes.  We will be making a coaster calendar and each month we will make two of the calendar months so this will be a 6 month series of projects.  I used regular chipboard coasters and punched two holes using the Crop-a-Dile and I used binder rings which I purchased at Staples.

Throw Back Thursday - Valentine's Day Plate

This was one of my monthly projects for my classes.  Every month we made a different plate cover to be displayed for the holidays.  This was the plate we created for Valentine's Day.  I used velcro dots to add a new plate cover every month.

Admittedly...I did change this one up and added the new "Love" saying from Stampin' Up!... it needed something!  It really needs bling, but I wanted to keep it as a "Throw Back" idea.  Enjoy.
