Organizing Tips.. Stampin' Up! Cardstock

This is how I keep my 8 1/2 x 11 Stampin' Up! Cardstock organized.  I bought this paper rack from a local craft store that was going out of business.  I've had it for over 10 years and I love it... I like that it's compact and stores my cardstock vertically.  I stack the cardstock according to the Stampin' Up! color families.  You can see the little strips I have with the colors and names.  I created the strips in MDS and laminated.

I know that most crafters are challenged on how to store their paper scraps. I like to put my scraps in a hanging pendaflex file.  I have a hanging file for each color and I just put the scraps in their folder.  It makes it easy to check for scraps when I need a particular color.  I do not keep the really small pieces, it's not worth it because they get damaged and wrinkled.  I also put these in the color families in the same order.  I bought this crate at Staples.

I like to have White cardstock as my first file since I use so much white for my cards and projects.

More From Fall Fest Event

I'm so happy to share more great samples from my Fall Fest Stamping Event.  These Inkredible girls are so talented!!  I LOVE these bows!  These amazing Angels and Bows were made by Annette Stewart using the Stampin' Up! Gift Bow Bigz L Die Cut (129977).  Click here to view in my Stampin' Up! Website

Every table at Fall Fest was decorated with its own unique banner.  They were all different and beautiful.  They were held together with a mason jar at each end.  Very cute and clever idea!!

The Big Shot Magnetic Platform is here...

I'm so excited that the the Big Shot Magnetic Platform will be available for purchase again starting Thursday, September 12.  This is such a great tool that makes using your framelits so easy and so precise.  It's a must have!!

Fall Fest Stampin' Up! Event

Yesterday we had our 2013 Fall Fest event.  This is an event that is open to all the demonstrators in my Stampin' Up! group.  It was so much fun and so inspiring.  We had a WOW Swap, regular card swaps, make and takes, tons of displays, door prizes and lots of brainstorming on ideas and best practices.

This is my WOW swap - a T-light Box using Stampin' Up! White Frost Specialty DSP.  The sold cardstock used was either Bermuda Bay or Island Indigo.

For the meeting swap I made a Sunburst card using Stampin' Up! Modern Medley 12x12 DSP.

These are some of the other WOW Swaps from my friend Laura Davis and Lilly Ruiz.  Laura made this awesome origami box using Stampin' Up! Modern Medley DSP.  And Lilly made this gorgeous ornament using Stampin' Up! White Frost Specialty DSP.
